Tonight will be our first show in over 2 weeks. I can’t remember the last time we had that much time off. Well, I guess it wasn’t really ‘time off’. The band has been in the studio laying down the new record. I feel a little out of shape due to the lack of performing, but I’m sure it will all come back after a few shows.

 

I’ve been feeling the need to play some new songs, except I haven’t really written anything in a while. Actually, I take that back, I wrote something a while back that finally turned into a song, but I think it still needs a little work. Maybe we’ll be able to work it out and incorporate it into a set. Who am I kidding? I’ll probably play it tonight! It’s just way too irresistible to not play a new song. Even if the song is done, I never really know if it’s any good until I try to play it in front of people. So I may as well get that out of the way tonight. If the band will let me
